Catching Up
I don't know where the month of February is going but time sure is flying by. I've got to get caught up on posts so that I can start thinking about Quinn and Riley's 1 year post... a week from today!
This will be the short version:
Kelley had her baby boys, a week ago today. They are in the NICU (I remember those days) but doing really great and we are just praying they come home as soon as they are ready!
We got lots of snow last Friday. Geoff was coming home from Charleston and had to park his car at the Walgreens up the road and walk the last .5 mile home. That was interesting! We took the kids out to see our 7 inches of snow Saturday morning. Not sure if they were impressed...you be the judge.
Then we loaded up the car that afternoon and headed down to Charleston for a long weekend with some wonderful families we went to Clemson with. We were blessed with the opportunity to say in this amazing 9 bedroom house on the Isle of Palms. Geoff had lots of fun cooking on the 6 burner gas stove! Here was our sunset off the back porch!
Here are 8 of the 9 kids (one family came Sunday)! They were all so cute playing and having fun together!
We tried to take the kids to walk on the beach but it was so windy we had to abort that mission and take fun pictures on the porch instead.
Quinn enjoyed the fact that pretty much anyone he would crawl up to and use their pant leg to pull up on would pick him up! He especially liked Beth!
Here's another little girl he liked. Her name is Ella and I think he's sweet on her. He would watch her and crawl after her... she's older and walking, and she even gave him a kiss!
Riley decided to give this lucky little boy, Luke, a kiss of her own. She opens her mouth for kisses and at one point there was some tongue...we'll have to discuss this with her...it's not ladylike!
And here are all the families...
