What we've been up to...

Cousin Carmen came to visit!

And Quinn and Riley are learning to eat with a spoon, it is messy but so much fun!

That's most of July, now I need to start working on August because it's been a busy month too!  Especially with Geoff and I taking a trip to San Francisco, without children.  That's to come, but some other new posts are below as well :)

4th of July

For the 4th of July weekend we enjoyed a little cooler weather and ventured out to Gilbert for a peach festival.  We had a good time seeing all the sights and by far our favorite thing was the peach cobbler with peach ice cream!  Geoff and I each got one and shared them with the kids and we all thought it was yummy. 

Later that day our friends Kelley and Jonathan came with their twin boys (the older girls stayed with family).  Kelley and Jonathan had a wedding to go to so Geoff and I watched their boys so they could go alone.  We managed to give our kids dinner, the boys bottles,  and then get everyone ready and in bed, and asleep by 7:45!  Then we got to sit down and have some dinner.  We were pretty impressed with ourselves and the teamwork it took to accomplish a night with 4 children, just 1 year apart!

Nana's Birthday

So I'm trying to get caught up on our summer fun!  I'm really not sure where July went, I guess dropping the morning nap has definitely made our life a little busier.  We try to get out of the house almost every morning at least for a little bit so we are on the go a lot these days! 

At the end of June we went to the upstate for Nana's birthday.  Aunt Jana as well as my sister and her kids came and we had lots of fun swimming at the pool and playing with the cousins!

It was a fun trip and we really enjoyed all the great family time!
